Anyone Else Tow with 96-04-V6 Tacoma?

Hello, Is there anyone else out there that has towed with a Toyota Tacoma? I have a 99 Prerunner TRD EXT-Cab 121.9 wheelbase.V6 3.4 190hp 220ft lb torque.Max trailer weight 5000lb tongue#500lb. with tow-pac GCWR 9000lb. I am looking to tow a 3500lb loaded 6M Minuet. oh, truck weight 3355lb. And Thank You for more good information or opinions, Red Rover^^^

WOW, it's really hard to believe (to credit upon the ground of authority testimony, argument, or any other circumstances than personal knowledge) that out of 25,676 Air Forums Members that only three members have towed a small travel trailer with a 96-04 Toyota Tacoma V-6? Mabey I should not have mentioned the word Toyota?, but thanks Any Way!, the numbers just don't seem right. And blessed be the peacemakers. Thanks Red Rover^^^

I have a similar rated truck. A late model daily driver Chevy Colorado.
The Airstream of choice is a used 16' CCD 3500 LB. fully geared up. In searching the threads we don't find much towing info about lighter
tow combinations. I'm curious do you think we shall have success?
The hp 242 @ 5600 rpm and torque 242 @ 4600 rpm.

MR.Redwords, Failure Is Not An Option, we are having success! I have gotten some really good info from some of the Forum members, that have a lot of EXP and don't mind sharing it with us! So you'r pretty shure you'r loaded trailer weight is about 3500lb? Now, you'r TV engine is 242hp and the torque is also 242ft lb? What are the specs on wheelbase, curb weight, GVWR, GCWR, Max Tongue load, Tow-Pac? What chu got? Check out my thread Toyota Tacoma TV? There is some good info in it for us. Good questions I will answer most if I can. 16' CCD max's out at 3500 lb.
Wheelbase = 126". Max Trailer weight = 5500 lb. Tongue weight I don't
remember but well within safety zone. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Another similar, Honda Ridgeline. Curb wgt. 4537#, 247hp, 245 torque, 122" wheelbase. Max tow wgt. 5000/500. Our 22" Safari is 3600# dry/400# on the tongue. We get 14-18 mpg towing, depending on conditions. No problems.
