Let's hear from any 28'ers out there. How does the Touareg tow a 28 foot Airstream? I am in the market for a new 2nd TV. Top three I plan to look at, and this would be as a second tow vehicle option . . .
(not in any specific order)

Expedition
Taho
Touareg

How about sticking with a 23 and below and max her out or go 25FB and watch you weights...

As the "Touareg King" (self appointed) I would go F-150 EcoBoost....

The business community in/around KC must not be doing something right... you seem to have to travel a lot to find what you want! How far did you to for the Bambi again?

I'm somewhat picky. 1200 miles (one way) for the Bambi ( no AS dealer here) I wanted a Touareg for awhile and NOTHING even close to what I wanted. I wanted the Nav, Lux plus package, silver, V8, tow package and low miles. Also I'm kinda cheap and wanted a good deal. This is my first out of town purchase for a car but is from a good VW dealer so I'm feeling good. I'll post pictures.

I also had to travel to get a touareg - the local VW dealer didn't stock them and never had one used even though the owner of the dealership drove a TREG himself.

You'll love pulling a Bambi with the V8. It's a piece of cake.

I sold my 19' and got a 25FB and have been doing OK with the V8 except it has to work much harder here in the CO mountains. So this week I just picked up a 2007 V10 Turbo Diesel which should do much better. This thing will snap your head back.

Except the Germans decided to leave out the the wires for the brake controller!! Had to run my own wires, but wasn't too hard. Now just waiting to go for the test tow!!

I'm excited to set her up with the Bambi and I've ordered all the parts for the prodigy p3 break controller. With all the detailed instructions I'm sure I'll do fine but I'm still looking for the micro relay 12 volt spst 20 amp. Where did you find yours? I could order online but checked auto zone and no luck. Any help will be much appreciated.

Also which mirrors do you use. Mine are a bit small for the huge mirrors on the TReg.

I decided to go hunting for the wiring for the brake controller and it was right there staring at me! Etrailer just sent me my replacement wiring harness, so now I'm waiting on VW and for my relay. I can't wait to hook her up!
