Believe the reason they scrapped the Titan/Ram idea was because Fiat took over Chrysler.

I believe just about all of the major players do. I saw a diesel crew cab Ford Ranger when I was in the Bahamas, and it was not the abortion that was sold in the US. It was a full sized, 6' bed Ranger with a 4 door cab. I wanted to bring it home but the cruise line said it would exceed my baggage limit.

Last small diesel pickup I owned was an 1982 Isuzu P'up with the small diesel, mine was a 4x4, slow, but had plenty of grunt power.
