I picked up the 25FB Int'l Serenity with my 2007 Mercedes ML320 CDI. The Shurline scale reported 1,150 pounds tongue weight at the dealer with Hendley hitch head, 150 watt dealer installed solar system and street and rear awnings. I had CanAm reweld and strengthen the MB factory hitch before picking up the trailer.
Plenty of towing power @ California 55mph speed limit and did fine on climb out of Palm Springs finally dropping to 5th from 7th and 2150 rpm.
Crossed CAT scale when home by my self. Car was legal on axle ratings and GVW. After loading for camping with wife and a few items in rear of car, went to scales again. Front axle rating exceeded and GVW was exceeded. No generators or extra cables etc. Tongue weight was now 1,175 pounds.
Now have 3/4 Dodge pickup with Cummins. No weight issues now or with 27FB Classic 9,000 GVW in January.
