This may be a somewhat narrow question, but something I saw on another thread that Andy at Inland mentioned hit home with me.
I tow a 19' 2006 Bambi SE with a 2001 Expedition Eddie Bauer. The Expediton has an air leveling system. I have been using this set-up for 2-1/2 years and it seems perfect to me. We have an Equalizer hitch. Should I try towing with the leveling system shut off. (The owner's manual doesn't say anything about that---only that you shut it off when you jack the car up). Although I doubt if Ford factored in the Equalizer.
Hi, Randy. I have owned my trailer since September 2004 and tow it with a 2000 Lincoln Navigator 2WD / rear air suspension. I have a few extra steps with hooking up and removing my spring bars, but that is it. As for Ford factoring in the Equal-i-zer, Look at your receiver tag and it will give you two specs, one without WD hitch and one with WD hitch. With WD hitch your capacity or tongue weight is higher.
