Hard to say exactly what the cost was because there were other issues taken care of in the process and also some preventative maintenance done. I believe my total was about $2200 which at the time was about $2000 US.
Needless to say I was relieved that they paid half. I think they knew about the issue.
Haven't had any issues since.

They are incredibly durable engines. If’s a world class pushrod V8. They will routinely go way past 250K without major issues.

Hopefully they have that system straightened out. It would be a shame if they let that issue give the LS a black eye.
