Oh... 45 mph in second gear... ! Huuumm...

Yes, an older Cadillac with big block but these old big blocks are reliable or unreliable... ?

I can add to the list the Chrysler 300C Hemi with its AWD.

The fuel mileage may also be a factor for you- the older big V8s got 10mpg on a good day, which I think translates to 23.5 liter/100km. If you aren't going for long, long trips and camping style is more important, then the older tow car would be fun. Post pics of what you find, I'm always curious to see the Euro versions.

I sold my Ami6 a long time ago. I had a 1968 Dodge Dart until recently and now have an Alfa Romeo spider. The Ami was sold in very small numbers in the US, along with the 2CV, until 1966 or so. The DS was sold here until 1972, and the SM, 1973.

Exactly, we wish drive relatively far during our holidays and near the weekend.

I'm aware that the fuel consumption is very important ! I can run a trip or 4x the same trip with an other vehicule for the same price... ! Confortable reliable diesel or a V8 US engine... It's very important to think well...!

Globie64, what you wish that I post ? European car capable to tow the trailer ? European camping ?

Oh yes, all cars you told have a success, DS (very confortable) and the SM very rare with the maserati engine... !

Very good, very good all that...

Hi, good morning,

I can find easily Plymouth Fury III (1968) in cabriolet or sedan version with the 383 engine.

What do you think about this car ? Is it possible to fix a tow system on this car ?

Thank you,

Hello,

Finally, I've bought a 2002 Chevy Tahoe, it should be better to tow the airstream and more reliable than an old car....

The Tahoe is very beautiful and in very good condition, it is a first hand and always fixed in garage.
