77 Argosy MH as tow unit

Looking for advice...I have a 72 Sovereign that I gutted, raised body 22" in height and added a 10' slide out on the drivers side. The trailer weighs less now empty even with the mods I have done. The finished product will basically be a refinished shell which I will use for recording music.

I would like to pull this with a 77 Argosy which will contain the recording equipment / control room...Hard to find specs but I think it is a P30 chassis...454 Gasser 1 ton dually.

If the weight is not an issue then the other thing I am wondering is the maneuverability...especially in reverse.

Any experience would be appreciated.

It would be helpful if you could post some more info. What is the rear ratio of the truck? What trans? Any additional cooling system on the trans?

Where is the 22 in. measured to, the bottom of the frame, ball height, etc

The drive-ability will be no different than any other truck trailer combination of that size. The shorter the trailer and the longer the truck the harder it is to control while backing up. But it can be done.
