X2 on the emblems. That Cummins piece is one I don't recall and it looks ideal.

The color, the bed and the rest seem great. Front bumper designed yet?

How'd the frame finish? All boxed in? Going with POR-15 on it, or?

I will be boxint the rest of the frame, right now I just have the front portion done so I could get the motor mounted. I need to get my bellhousing so I can stuff the tranny in it so I can have all the measurements I need to build the cross member for it, this is so I can be sure the engine continues to fit!

Right now everything I have welded in is mostly tacked with some parts welded out to make it strong enough to stay togeather. The Rest of it will come togeather in time.

This is how the motor mounts were built:
After a ton of measurements/lots of thought I came up with a 3D CAD file.

Then went to school and cut them out

I am still going to be adding a cross member that bolts in that will go under the engine. It will be removable so as that I can drop the oil pan with ease if I ever need to change the oil pump or something like that.

Mini update, I just stayed up all night doing cad designing a new bed, decided not to build the welder trailer, I am going to wind up buying a new machine, a Lincoln Vantage 300 with the Kubota Diesel. This bed is designed around it.

more to come soon...

Hey MrBeast,
I was wondering why I hadn't seen any progress on your truck lately. Then I found your thread on the 67-72 Chevy forum. Bummer man. A real bummer. I hope you get healed up soon. Best to you!

I followed him around on other forums awhile too. And was thinking of this truck as I wrote a response on your new 1970. Some really bad luck, and hope that time is healing, not just docs and hospitals. Was going to offer to go over to his shop via PM, Lance, if there was not another way to find him. Some excellent ideas in the above thread, and I'm really sorry to read of this accident. Thanks for updating us.
