Not for nuthin, but back in 1961 I was a high school senior and driving a 53 Mercury Montery and the first time I got beat street drag racing in Paterson N.J. was by a chevy PU six. Sal

Motors are easy . . and a bit beside the point. Brakes and steering are what count in towing. Sort of like getting overwrought about "tow ratings". Fascination via misdirection.

Even with brand-new factory steering it isn't much of a TV. Sears garden tractor. A wholly different front end with modern steering geometry? That would be the ticket.

Yes Rich, I believe a company is planning to build a hundred or so of these vehicles on a late model Corvette platform.

I think it's pretty cool. I know Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny (Des Moines) Iowa has a side company which builds Corvette mods. He's done a bunch of split windows on a C6 chassis.
