25fb towing with 1 ton
I'm going to pick up a 25fb from 1000 miles away, I have a ram 5500. Is there any reason I should use a weight distribution anti sway hitch to bring it home or just go with it? Also is that 5500 going to be too rough for that trailer? I don't want to beat it to death

You could probably pull the 25ft trailer with a Subaru lol. Yes the 5500 is overkill. Is that the answer you were looking for? That’s like picking up laundry basket with a crane... can it be done? Sure... will it hurt the laundry basket..? Probably not with the right driver. Good luck.
