BS,

Get the trailer, a quality WD hitch with sway control, ditto on the brake controller, just do it. The rig will tell you what up-grades are needed.

Chances are your 5210 will hit the 7300 with astounding speed. Don't rely on the published weights, they are notoriously light, especially the tongue weights.
Get to the scales ASAP. And don't overlook the TV payload, axle ratings and tires.

Common cents is your ally.

"The shortcoming of a marginal tow vehicle is usually is not engine power but rather braking and chassis control particularly on curvy downgrades."

The trailer should be braking itself if properly set up. Not sure what "shortcoming of . . . chassis control" would be.

(Yes we know, what if the trailer brakes fail with that little truck. But then again, what if the truck brakes fail with that big truck.)

You know us well! But we're doing our best to bring it back down 12 oz. at a time.
