2017 Silverado High Country Display Issue

We have a 2017 Silverado High Country w/Duramax. There is a feature in the display menu to turn off the display, like for night time driving. If you are using the navigation option at night and just want to turn the display off until needed then by touching the screen to bring it back up. This option does not work on our 2017. It will go off for a minute then come back on. Is anyone here with a 2017 (specifically) that can get this option to work? Meaning after going through the menu to turn off the display, the display stays off at night. This is for the 2017 year only!

I would ask my local dealer. They might be able to reflash your software a fix that for you.

That’s the issue, GM and local dealer say there is no fix. Trying to find out who else has this issue or who’s actually works if anyone.
