Without something like SAE J2807 to compare trucks objectively, buying a tv can be a real challenge (as reflected in many of the posts in this forum).

Hi, I'm not a Diesel fan, as most of you already know, but for those who are, the Cummins Diesel in a Nissan will save that truck from extinction just like Cummins did for the Dodge.

My understanding is that, once everyone's selling 2015s, they're going to all be rated to SAE specs.

The GM 1/2 tons and big SUVs already are and the HDs should be for 2015. All of Ram's trucks are SAE rated. Toyota has been doing it for years. The 2015 F-150 will be as well. Nissan is doing it with the new Titan. The only ones I'm not positive about are the 2015 HD Fords.

That's certainly a step in the right direction.
