First test run today with my new Jeep Grand Cherokee overland diesel. Did a great job. Very windy today so we moved around a bit. Need to do a few hitch adjustments to lower the front about 2 inches. I had it set up with a ball height of 19.5". I need to lower it to 18" to get it level. That will make it more stable. 1978 31' Sovereign.

11,330 miles, approx 9k towing. Average continues to be 18.6 @ 63 mph. No issues, great performance.

23,775 miles with continued 18.6 mpg average @ 62 mph. About 20k of that pulling the coach.

Routine PMI's.

Got new axels on the Airstream so readjusted the ball height. We have been getting 30 mpg's without the camper and 17 when towing. 35,000 miles on the JGC Overland diesel. Still love this tow vehicle.. Had to get the diesel particulate filter changed out .

I have read people say you can turn off the leveling system. How do you do that?

Go to page 339 in your manual. You temporarily place the Jeep in Tire Jack mode by pushing a button on your screen. That shuts off the air suspension. Do your thing and then reset to normal. Jim
