In frustration -- does anyone else have difficulty posting ads on the Airstream Classified site? It keeps asking for my user name and password and then tells me my password doesn't work.
I bought a 2014 Chevrolet Express 3500 regular wheel base 9 passenger van to tow our 31 Airstream Express. I was replacing our 1999 2500 Series Suburban.
The Suburban ran great but I burned up the rear brakes when the controller failed in the rockies. My wife lost confidence in the vehicle and was afraid of being stranded somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Her lack of confidence passed over to me. So we bought the van, mainly because of the cargo carrying capacity and the barn doors.
The van has just over 73,000 miles, has the 6.0 motor, and the trailer towing package. I added a blue stripe to match our Airstream and had pickup bed liner put on the rocker panels to match the trailer. I like everything about this van. Then i fell out of it and hurt myself. -- mobility issues. It just became too much getting in and out of it with bad knees, hips and 70 year old body.
If anyone wants a very nice Chevroler Express Van,,, I got one for sale. It is ready to tow. I'm in Springfield MO... fifteen five.
