I'm in the process of installing my Roadmaster Stowmaster on my new 2010 Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep manual states to disconnect the battery when towing with an RV.
The last Jeep I towed was a 2002 Wrangler, no such warning in the manual as I best remember. Miles did log on the ODOMETER when being towed.
1. With the battery disconnected are miles still LOGGED on odometer?
2. Of course my Brake Buddy will have to be direct wired to battery if I DO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY.
3. I can think of no reason to disconnect the battery. The dealer knows nothing. I have not contacted Jeep directly thru their hotline/help desk. Previous call usually yielded nothing other than to contact my dealer.
Thanks
