'07 Tacoma/'94 So Vern, where we going? 21'

I'm going to pick up a 1994 21 footer with my 2007 Tacoma Saturday. Does anyone know the recommended ball height for the trailer, and will I be able to see anything other than silver in my factory Tacoma mirrors?

We tow a 19' 06 Bambi with an 07 Tacoma...

I can't help with the ball height, but I do know you will need extended mirrors of some kind.

We tow a 19' 06 Bambi with an 07 Tacoma...we use McKesh Mirrors are are very happy with them.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info, I put on some cheap Cipa tow mirrors my brother-in-law gave me for now. Plan on going slow and easy since I'm more of a VW camper bus guy, the whole trailer thing still spooks me. This will be the third Airstream I've pulled home to the yard, I'm hoping it will be the first that I'm brave enough to pull back out of the yard. Last one I pulled home with the Tacoma was a 96 Excella 29 footer, hope this 21 foot won't require as many nerve pills. Thanks again.

You pulled a 29' Excella with a Tacoma? That is a big load. How far did you tow it?

The 94 should be 6 inches narrower than the 96 Excella (wide body). and hopefully about 2600 lbs lighter than the 29 footer.

I was lucky that the Excella was just 34 miles from my house, it looked a bit like a mouse dragging an elephant down the road.
