Wintering in Texas?

Hello,
Wondering if any musicians or singers/writers are going to winter in the Rockport, Texas area? Would like to get together and have some RV music fun.

We are thinking about it? We start in SD and head north around Lake Superior in Oct? Are we crazy? Then head down the east coast to winter somewhere in TX on the coast we hope. I play guitar and my daughter plays fiddle. Love to play if our paths cross. Dancepancha
