Should we winterize when we leave our AS?

Hello;
We live in Ontario Canada. We own a recently purchased 30' 1994 Excella and are making our first winter trip South beginning in October.
Our plan is to camp in South Carolina for 6 weeks; leave the trailer on site or store it; return to Canada for December and part of January; then to return to where we left or stored the trailer for another eight weeks.
My question is should we winterize the trailer when we leave it behind, probably in south Carolina?

Yeah, I would. Even here in northern Florida we get good freezes and I drain my lines and blow them out with the air compressor during those periods.

It would probably be a good idea, it sure wont hurt anything and probably give you peice of mind. Blow out the lines pay close attention to the toilet because of small water passages they would freeze first.

Wouldn't hurt - better safe than sorry - doesn't cost much to do.

I live in SC, about 15 miles from the NC line. I winterize mine every year and have for all of my prior trailers (this my first A/S). We are mild, by "northern" standards, but we still get a few 15-20 degree mornings, sometimes a few in a row. I would say winterize.

Definitely winterize. I had ice on a windshield in northern Florida in November one time. The risks of freezing and the damage you can have far outweigh any cost or hassles of winterizing.
