Newbie question - winter travel

We're new to the AS community: '14 28' Serenity. Can you operate the furnace on LP while towing the trailer?

Yes, and I recommend it in sub-freezing weather. It will keep your water pipes from freezing, within limits. I've done it and was successful in weather in the teens, but would not rely on it for much lower temps.

Yes, we do it as necessary.

Depending on your itinerary and the availability of shore power at your destination, you may want to be sure that the charge line from your tow vehicle is working properly so that the battery in the trailer isn't depleted.

You will go through a fair amount of propane.
