Was putting my new counter tops on Maude this afternoon and had to turn the AC on. We have had the windows open in the house since Sunday.
Florida ain't to shabby. Come on down if it is cool where you are.
Warmest Regards,
Joe

13 degrees now and going down to 0 tonight. Last night and today we had up to 9 inches of snow and drifting snow with wind gusts of 40mph or more, low visibility and then whiteout conditions. At 3 in the morning I was awaken by snow thunder that I did not even know existed and was relieved to discover it does exist and was heard twice by others in the area during the night. Freaky.

8F today's high, quite windy, plus 8" of snow.

I think I shovelled the exact same snow about 3-4 times!

I realize that this is not cold for you in the frozen tundra, but for a Southern California boy who came to the desert for warmth, it is cold. Blythe, CA - High in the low 50's with a strong northeast wind, low tonight of 27, high tomorrow of 53, hopefully 70's by Friday.

That's what happens when you run away from home Mike. We talked to friends in Tucson today and they go to 38 with a forecast low of 26. Up in Washington we saw 43 and now at 10PM it's 38. You better start heading north ol buddy.

Cheers, Dan

I was lowering the shell back onto the frame today, notching out some c channel when I stopped to take in the birds chirping, and realized how comfortable I was in my t shirt. It was a good day today. Love the mid 60's calm weather and sunny skies. Should I keep going?

About the only thing you feel at this temperature is stunned. At least we have water this morning.

Lynn, at least 0˚ feels warm. You are supposed to have 57 degree swing in temps—that's extreme! It was -11˚ at 5 am here.
