That is exactly why we stayed home this weekend. We were to go to Florence Marina State Park near Providence Canyon for an astronomy program presented at Providence Canyon State Park on Saturday. I have long gotten past trying to drive in the snow in Atlanta.

Our yard this morning.

Snow last Weekend

Snow in North Carolina has been "more than normal" as well.

Love the "Snowman Watch" Brad! Wish the snow went that fast here but it has been 4 weeks since the first snow and we haven't seen solid ground in the yard yet. It rained some today and instead of washing it away, we now have little ponds on top of the snow...

Snow in Georgia!
Cooper catching snow balls.
He's 4 1/2 and this was his first experience with snow.
He loved it.

Cooper Rocks!

What a great shot of Cooper!

I can see that you have been well trained. Does Coop let you up on the bed or do you have to stay on the couch?

Lily, my smooth-coat (in the truck with me) was a great snow ball muncher.

Poor Cooper (rough-coat) has been banned from the bed and couch. He sheds another JRT a week! He has his own cozy beds all over the place. Some he shares with Agatha(smooth), our 14 1/2 year old JRT and one he even shares with the cat! (It is in the thermostatically controlled heated pet-house) We also have a heated bed in the house. So, as you can see, he is not neglected even though he does not get to lounge on the furniture, unless we are not looking that is!

I would love to see a bigger picture of Lily. From your tiny avatar she looks a lot like Cooper. But one of the great things about JRTs is the variety. That will probably end soon now that they are recognized by the AKC.

We used to have a Lilly and her daughter, Daisy(both smooth), but country living got the best of them. I have read that JRTs are less likely to make it to old age than other breeds because of their activity level. One was hit by a car and the other was mauled by a coyote. We miss them. They were like the same dog. Looked, moved and acted pretty much identical.

Looks like it is time to put that thing out of it's misery.

Standby to standby...

Looks like Lucy is waiting to issue the coup de grace.

Or maybe she is the pooch waiting to make off with the hooch.
