4-season question

Good afternoon. Is Airstream considered a 'true' 4-season travel trailer? Are there any particular problem areas to be aware of when considering 4-season Airstream living?

That would depend on what year the trailer is... and how cold it gets..

almost every winter issue is addressed therein, except maybe how to dress fresh game kills in the snow.

living through the seasons vs camping for a while during cold times are very different...

once the water, lpgas, drain pipes, condensation and other simple issues are solved.

after reading some, think about some specific items that matter 2 you and ask away...

Hello I have used mine all year round.(ohio) Alluminum and salt (Road treatment) in the winter dont mix well. You just have to go to a pressure wash place when you can. Like if I am heading south in Jan I stop at a place below W Virginia. get it real good and clean.

I spent all of last January and February in my Overlander just south of Seattle WA. Warm, comfortable, and happy.

The previous year I tried that in a new SOB motorhome. A much less pleasant experience.

In Amarillo last December my 4" sewer line froze solid at 18F in one day. It took a heat gun and finesse to get it un frozen. They say the tanks are heated via furnace however on the Safaris the plumbing hangs down like a scene from mousetrap, probably could not keep it from freezing without some electric heat tape.
