Trim to cover gap between wall and floor?

Looking for a material that will cover the gap where the floor meets that wall. Need something that will bend with the curve of the wall. I bought rubber baseboards and cut them into strips...that didn't work.

Airstream sells a close out for transition from the floor to wall --it is used in current trailers with vinyl flooring.

I think I found a solution using the rubber strips I already created. By angling them, They take the curve without buckling.

I have used a caulk found in flooring department at lowes.

What do you mean by "angling" them? We are looking for something to cover the curved, high-stress areas on the woodwork near the floor, where the finish is wearing off due to normal wear and tear.

We bought a strip of black rubber baseboard, along with the recommended adhesive, but haven't yet tried to cut and apply. The guy at Lowe's said we would need to secure this with tape for awhile on the curve, to make sure it holds.

Would be interested in knowing more of what you did.

I used the commercial-grade vinyl baseboard trim (found in hospitals and schools). I cut it into 1-inch strips and fastened it to the floor with color-matched screws. By angling it against the wall, i could bend it to the curve.
