Has anyone used cork? And if so, where did you get yours?

Hi wannaroam;
We have installed a Jelinek cork in 12"X 12" X 1/4" urethane finished tiles
which we have glued down with waterborne glue. Cost about $4.00 per tile. To be truthful we love the looks and there is no better feeling under your bare feet. Aside of the fact we had an accidental flood from bad pex connectors, floor survived without a single issue. After this I would not install anything else in my AS. Thanks, "Boatdoc"

Cork was my first choice, but also too expensive for us right now. We put the most money into serious foundation items: new axles, water heater, water pump, new stove, ect ect. I figured the more decorative items like flooring could be easily replaced in a couple of years when finances dictate.
As I mentioned before, we found carpet tiles ($1.15 sq yd) and put them down using just 1/4" staples so they easily come back up when we are ready to change.

This was a clearance walnut finish SnapLocII I had gotten from Lowes. Definitely much better than the super well worn green shag that was original. Very easy to keep clean too.

93 Land Yacht Interior
Well here's a few of my 93 Land yacht MH taken at night.
Pergo Dark Cherry flooring
Chinese Red & Basic Black marine carpet wall covering
self built cabinets stained gloss black
speckled black formica countertops
collection of stuff I found and liked at shops and sales throughout the U.S.
bubbling fountain for water sounds when it's not raining.
I favor dark tones. Makes the rainy Oregon winters seem bright outside.
Looking aft.
Just the place for a good book on a rainy day.
Water fountain between galley and desk area. Hey, it works for me!

Hey Tbro,
Holy s$$t! That is incredible... Can you post some more pics in daylight? I was making my eyes go buggy trying to enlarge the photos to look at all the details. Especially your fountain, I love the idea.

Heya Carol,
Nice to meet ya! Glad you enjoyed my efforts. Yes I will be adding some more daylight photos. You might want to check my blog so I don't end up cross-posting too many photos. I started it yesterday to catch up to where I am today in the process. It's a work in progress so things are in a constant state of flux.
thanks again!
tbro
