Perfection Floor Tile ?

Has anyone used Perfection Floor Tile in their trailer, or anywhere else?

It has an interlocking dovetail that is hidden, so there is no glue. It is a floating floor. This would allow one piece to be removed if it is damaged, and another would snap right back in it's place. It's advertised as heavy enough to be used in garage floors, and that it will bridge cracks without damage.

Lowes is a distributor, but it is special order.

Perfection Floor Tile

I'm considering this as an alternate to Allure, since I have seen some reports of adhesive failure in the overlapped joints in Allure.

I used it and liked it a lot. It was easy to install and the blue and white checker board look pretty good. When traveling it stayed in place and did not move much. It was in my 1990 Excella which we sold a couple of years ago.

Thanks! I appreciate your comments. I already saw your photos. Your post in the Classified section is the only reference in this forum that showed up when I did a search.

How did you treat the edges, with regard to expansion/contraction? Looks like you used a shoe where there was wood. What did you do at the metal walls?

Alan,
As I recall the floor butted up to metal in only 2 placed and was not more that 3 feet on each side. I was able to cut it flush and it looked good. It did not expand that I know of and it got really hot in the summer.
