No Glue Allowed!
We're in Arizona, and the trailer sits outside in the sun all summer. There is essentially no glue on the face of the earth (except epoxy, maybe) that will keep floor tiles together in temps of 130 inside the trailer.
I'm looking for a vinyl snap-together wood-look floor. The water-resistance of the Allure sounds great, but the glue strips will not work. Marmoleum sounds great, but installing a single sheet of something in this trailer would be a job for a magician, not a handyman.
There's gotta be something I'm just not aware of. What am I missing?

Traditional snap together floating wood flooring.. Cork works very well and lasts...

My Pergo floor has begun to shrink from the heat and dryness of the desert. The floor is 10 years old and most of that time has been in Arizona.

Just purchased some click together vinyl strips (Shaw) from Lowe's. They are like the Allure but without the glue edges. Three colors in stock @ 1.98/sq.ft.. Other colors custom order @ 2.98/sq.ft. They seem to have a little more give than the Allure and the colors I felt are nicer than they have in stock at the Home Despot. If you run out or have too much you can always go back and buy more or return.

Home Depot also has TrafficMaster Interlock Allure flooring. It's tongue in groove that snaps together.

I'm thinking about changing the floor in my AS. If I go to a click together laminate, is it necessary to remove the existing wall to wall linoleum that came with the trailer?

We put in a snap together floating floor from Lowes. One of the thinnest and cheapest ones they stock. It has held up fine for 3 years now. I tossed some scraps out into a woodpile and after 3 years outdoor exposur they still look as good as when I dumped them. The material is a high density mdf with a vinyl covering. A little tricky to make the snap connections. I had to use an air hose and blow each tongue and groove out before connecting the panels. I have used some of the left over pieces to make router templates for the shop. I was suppressed how well it holds up There would be now way to replace one piece if there was damage. But since it floats it would be straight forward to do a do over. The longest. hardest part was putting in the shoe mold around the edges.

I finished a new floor in our 30' Excella a couple months ago with an Allure product that snaps together and is supposed to be guarenteed waterproof. It went together very well, and is a lot easier to work with than the laminate snap together that I've used on several other Airstreams.
I bought it at our local Home Depot...

I am restoring a 78 ARgosy Minuete. Did you use any kind of moisture barrier under your flooring, between the wood subfloor and the Allure flooring? I would like to install bamboo flooring and wonder about the need for some sort of moisture barrier.

No, I didn't put a moisture barrier under the Allure flooring. It's solid vinyl. The requirements may be different for bamboo, though.
