How many square feet for a 31 footer and would you have any idea of the weigh of the flooring added?

Just purhased wood flooring material for a 69 Sovereign 31 and came up with 110 sq. ft. VISIBLE flooring, not including anything under cabinets, etc. I can't see replacing carpeting under cabinets, but might have to consider spacing and height of cabinets, etc. once the old carpet is removed. We don't want to have to contend with any odors, or problems with carpet in the future. Actually, wood flooring could be removed rather easily if necessary as it isn't glued or nailed down. We will be putting a qtr-round molding around the base of cabinets, etc. to cover the gap necessary for the flooring. (3/8-5/8ths inches)

Are you planning on gutting the whole interior and doing a floor wall-to-wall; or just the visible area?

Had excellent luck with wood flooring in our other camper. Very nice.
Anyone with pitfalls or installing wood flooring? Problems?

Wood vs other

Looked at a lot of samples prior to installing Pergo in the MH.

All of the wood samples, and I do mean all, could be scratched or indented with only a hard fingernail.

For that reason, went with the Pergo.

I will admit, nothning looks better than a real wood floor, but for the abuse it will see in the camper (especially with the pups), I just could not justify going the real wood route.

I put in the front of the trailer all the way to the bed room in 5 inch natural oak with beveled edeges 1/2 thick (Anderson) and in the bedroom I did a single 5 inch border along the beds and the middle with 3 inch of the same type. The bath I am doing in peel and stick vynl because of the saggy rear bath deal (don't have it and don't want it). I got some really nice wood cuz one of my best buds has a wood flooring company. maybe the pic will work it is from my phones camera.
