Main door threshold?

I'm getting ready to install flooring over an entirely new 5/8" plywood subfloor. I'm close to making a decision on the flooring product (probably marmoleum but luxury vinyl is another alternative) and need to find a good exterior door threshold. Any great suggestions that hold down the wood and protect the edge of the plywood in this relatively exposed area?

Also, a couple folks have told me that some of the flooring adhesives turn brittle, crunchy, & fail when exposed to freezing temps. If you have recommendations on the best adhesive for trailers, that would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Lowe's has many different threshold pieces. Check them out and see what works for you.

Adding a picture

My written description isn't very clear - so here is a drawing. Basically, I've seen an exterior main door threshold solution that I like and would love to get as close to it as possible. Attached is a drawing. The one I've seen uses has a smooth ramp that facilitates sweeping small bits of dirt out the main door, caps the end of the sub-floor, and has a little drip gasket.

JJA, did you ever find your threshold? I'd love to find one similar to your drawing - ideally out of extruded aluminum with countersunk screws, but beggars can't be choosers.
