Labor to replace flooring ||| Wide range of estimates

I'm in the market for a used AS and most of what I'm encountering has carpet. I don't like carpet and would definitely want to remove it in any unit I purchase. So, today, I contacted 3 local shops and inquired about estimates (labor only) for a 27'-30' Airstream. Two of the shops receive good press here in the forums.

All 3 shops basically agreed that the best way to do this is to leave everything in the trailer (cabinets, dinette, etc.) and cut the carpet around these items. For this method, I was quoted 8 hours labor by one shop, 12-15 hours by another, and 30! hours by the other. Yes, 30 hours labor, which does not include removal of anything from the trailer.

Install floor.

Hi, I would ask for more details on how and what they plan on doing. A cheap job that looks bad or sloppy isn't good at any price especially if you have to do it again. How is the floor going to be secured? Will the edges be covered with quarter round or some other type moulding or just butted against the cabinets? Will the trim mouldings be mitered on the corners or not. Will there be any warranty on workmanship in case the flooring or mouldings start lifting? As for the product, if you supply it, that part is on you. I would want to see some of their work, especially on floors, and probably pick the quote in the middle. Do you know that there is no rotten wood in your subfloor?
