Installed Costco Golden Select Click Vinyl Floor

Well....decided the pink carpet had to go! So decided to go with Click Vinyl from Costco..$37.99 for 19.54 sq ft/box. Things went very well, carpet removed with several banged up knuckles and sore hands after several hours with a utility knife. Floor under the carpet was in perfect shape with no water damage or lifting seams. The vinyl floor is very easy to work with. For straight cuts you just score the surface and snap it off, much like drywall. For the many angle cuts, I used a jigsaw in combination with the utility knife...again very easy to cut. The pieces clicked together very easily...and I have installed many types of click flooring and this was by far the easiest. It took me a full day to remove the carpet and install the floor, and then a morning to get the trim work done, measure, cut, stain, and nail gun. % boxes were required for install. I left the bedroom with the carpet...nicer on the feet and very little traffic there. So now it looks like a new trailer...very happy with the results. Attached some photos.

Looks good! Did you remove the carpet everywhere, for example from under the couch? If not, how did you finish off the edges in those places?

I left the carpet under all the cabinets and trimmed as close as possible...needs a sharp knife. I unbolted the front of the couch from the floor to remove the carpet which only went about a foot under. Placed the click flooring about the same distance in. I then put screws into the floor leaving about 1/4" above the surface to prevent the flooring from sliding, but I am quite sure that would not happen anyway. I also cut the flooring so the coach legs were on the plywood floor as the new flooring needs to "float". I stained quarter round to cover the 1/8" space the flooring needs around the perimeter

Trim work attached with finish nails and nail gun to the wall and cabinets.
