FLOR Carpet Tiles

I've had a request to post some pictures of the FLOR tiles that I cut for my 28' Intl. I'm obviously not the first person to have done this, but I think the color choice and border might be of interest to others who might like to try this. I did remove the dinette to make the installation easier, and you don't even WANT to know what it was like to cut all those curves! It helps if you are VERY small when you're putting this in the bathroom!

Thanks for posting.

So, how hard do you think it will be to replace "tiles" as time goes on? And in what size groups?

W-e-l-l-l, I've already replaced two of the gray tiles -- one due to a minor mishap with a glass of red wine. The other was due to a dropped plate with some not so crisp bacon on it. The good news: you can just lift the tiles up (they are fastened with Flor stickies which hold firm but will let go)....I bought 4 extras in each color. The stained carpets squares did clean up with detergent and a hose. Flor is made with recycled plastic and can handle industrial strength wear. Oh, and I have two basset hounds. Need I say more about durability?

Thanks. I"ve not yet decided on flooring for the latest TT (postponed till a year or more out), so I value the experience recounted.

I have the FLOR blue-jean colored tiles in my bedroom and bathroom. Thy have an orange stripe to simulate the stitching on blue jeans. They are laid in a checkerboard pattern with the nap in adjacent tiles at right angles which makes the checkerboard visible as two slightly different colors. They show no wear after a few years of use.

BAB, your pics look great, nice color choices. Sounds like a lot of work, especially in the bathroom with all the cuts. Thanks for sharing.
