Removed all cabinets to install this new Shaw LVT. Very happy with the results. The only problem is with the counter tops out DW decided it's time to upgrade those as well!

You removed all the inside cabinets, bed, dinette, lounge, fridge, wardrobe, bath and pantry?

Did you glue the floor down?

Looks very nice.

Anything that didn't go to the ceiling was removed. I didn't want to open that can of worms. Designed to be free floating. They claim no expansion-contraction but I left a gap anyway.

Did you lay the floating floor then screw down the furniture and cabinets on top of the floor?

Actually, none of the cabinets attach to the floor as installed at the factory. Screwed to the walls then countertops screwed to cabinets and aluminum angle on walls. Anywhere I attached to the floor I oversized the hole through the flooring to allow for expansion - contraction.

I'm shortly going to reinstall the new floor in my 77 Excella. Right behind that I will be installing custom cabinetry. Can someone give me some direction on attaching the cabinets. From the above it is suggested that I should attach them to the walls. Yes/No? Attach to the stringers or ribs?
Thanks for helping. Jack
