Our 25FB has lots of rounder corners on the cabinets and bed so we need something that will follow the curve.
I had rounded corners in my former Airstream. I bought black self-adhering molding from McMasters-Carr. The stuff really adheres well to the cabinet bases and will take quite a tight corner. Comes in 25' lengths, as I recall. You really have to search around their website to find the molding.

Pulled all the easy stuff as well as the bed out last night.
The plan is to put the floor in tomorrow.
Now if I can just figer out how to loosen the galley cabinets so I can float the flooring under them so I wont have to use as much 1/4 round...

That was a lot of work, I'm to picky so I had to make sure every cut was perfect!
I have to admit it was worth the extra trouble to remove most of the interior so we could run it under everything so now there is no need for 1/4 rounds.

It looks fantastic! What did you do around the kitchen area? Did you cut around it? We have floor repairs to do in our. Bambi and are taking everything out except the kitchen and fridge.

We were able to loosen the screws and use a pry bar and lift the edges enough to get the new flooring under it. We did the same thing thru the bathroom. The planks are 36" long so we just worked in small sections at a time... VERY tedious work for sure!

Funniest moment of the project was the toilet bolts we rusted so bad we could not get them loose. We tried everything but nothing was working. We had noticed the toilet was not holding water in the bowl when we bought it, bad seal I guess, so after many foul words at the toilet my partner got his saws-all and cut it off at the base!
I guess we'll be adding a new toilet to our list of updates!

Hey Cyber, do yourself a favor and go for the ceramic throne. You won't be sorry and it's only a little bit more expensive than the plastic.

Great minds think alike! We were going to get the domestic 310 ceramic toilet!

Hi Blmitch. I see you are from Olathe. My sister lives in Leavenworth ( the town not the Big House) and we visit often. In fact plan to go west again next summer. Like the area but not sure enough to want to live out there. Too many tornadoes for me. Also, our trailer is a Kansas native. I bought it from my sisters neighbor so it likes to visit now and then

Take care,

Lol. I'm a Kansas native and moved to mountain states and AZ and back again but (knock on wood) have never been through a tornado. That's funny your Airstream is from Kansas as well, give us a shout when you come through.

I have been out visiting with tornadoes in the nearby area but all seem to skirt around Leavenworth. They can be scary through even even from a distance. I do enjoy visiting the area though. We plan a trip out west again. I have an army re-union in Wisconson so we'll either be on our way to Wisc. or from not sure which. I'll try and remember to give you a yell prior that would be nice.

Take care.
