Shocks and tires for 07 20' SAF

I want to put new shocks and tires on 2007 20' safari.

Where is best place to get:

shocks?
tires?

Can I put shocks on myself? buy them and install myself

I checked few places about trailer tires. They do not want trailer in bay and will not jack it up outside bay.

So I am going to take one tire/rim off get it done..put new back on.
Then take second tire/rim in.

Any ideas where to buy shocks and tires??

Thanks in advance.

why?

the stock shocks can be ordered from any a/s dealer for a 2007 trailer.

do u want the SAME of different shocks n tires...

most 'stream dealers and ALL goodyear shops can get the oem tires.

good idea about taking 1 wheel at a time in for mounting,

i'm just a consumer like u,

but make sure they can to LUG CENTRIC balancing,

most tires shops do hub centric balances and may not have the adapter.

cheers

Does your trailer have shock absorbers now? Some smaller late model Airstreams don't (although they should, IMO). They may be the units with Dexter axles, not Henschens.

If the trailer has shocks now, putting on new ones is quite easy. Yes, you will need the Airstream units. They are reasonably priced.

If your trailer doesn't have shocks, you need to check to see if it has the necessary mounting studs. If it doesn't have the studs, you will need more expertise (or hire it) to complete the job.

Come to think of it, if it has shocks, they shouldn't be worn out yet.
