I had shocks replaced last spring at the Airstream dealership in Greensboro, NC, Out of Doors Mart, my AS is a 73, 25 foot...the total parts and labor $273, I was able to observe, and the nuts holding the shocks in place are in a difficult place to get to, I have replaced auto shocks, do my own brakes...but I'm glad I had them do this job,,,,they seem to know about some of these "tricky" repairs...

I ordered my shocks from Inland RV, 4 for $125+tax+shipping, installed them while doing brakes and bearings. Easy, just follow Andy's suggestion to bend arm enough to get the shock off and on.
