This has been discussed to death, and I think I have read every post in the "Running Gear - Axles, Brakes, Wheels & Tires" forum and still do not have an answer.
What is the correct shock for a
1966 Globetrotter, it is a vertical shock not the horizontal type like on my 1975 Tradewind.
The most recommended shocks are NAPA/Monroe 95004, O'Reilly's 20718, Monroe 33033 and 555003, but these are all gas filled shocks.
I am almost positive I need a hydraulic static shocks, I am sure the vertical shocks for an Airstream should just dampen the movement whether the shock is being pushed or pulled.
It's been beaten to death, time to put it out or its misery. What is a correct part number?
