Interior partition shifting: do I need new shocks?
Hi there,
This is my first post, so I just want to thank everyone for all the great information you've posted over the years; I've learned a lot just from forum surfing.
My husband and I just got our 1973 Land Yacht last year; we're newbies looking to start some interior renovation this summer. We've noticed that the interior partition walls and bulkheads are shifting a little and causing rivet breakage and closet doors to stick. Reading through the forums, I'm guessing that we have a problem with the running gear or the axles (both are original).
We took a 2000 mile trip in our trailer last summer, which made everything worse, and decided not to do another long haul until we could fix things up. I don't want to restore the interior until I'm sure that it won't all come loose again due to structural issues. Could anyone offer me advice as to what to have a repair shop check first? Thanks!
