Who hangs interior art?

Who hangs wall art, photos etc. in their Airstream and how do you secure it?

We used those 3M sticky things, but the ones that use a small patch of velcro, not a hook.

We have several small frames up, and they've not yet fallen down, after, say, 1,600 miles of travel.

If you are lucky enough to have mouse fur walls then use hook'n loop (Velcro). Attach the 'hook' side to the frame (glue or staple) and just place against the wall which acts like 'loop' side.

I use the commercial sticky back velcro. I get it at Lowe's.

I have also found that Ikea has picture frames with plastic "glass" to save on weight and add to safety.

Been using the Command regular adhesive strips on small pieces and their Velcro strips for the larger framed pieces. Once I figured to wipe down the "wood" surfaces with acetone prior to positioning, they've stayed in place with no issues.

This print in our bedroom was framed by our framer in a light weight wood frame with Plexiglas. The area of the laminate where the picture was to go was cleaned with an alcohol wipe first. Then the framed print was attached to the wall using 3M Command Picture Hanging strips (see picture).

After 3,000 towing miles the picture has not fallen.

Thanks all for your methods, and those who showed their art.
More is welcome.

Command strips hold up my cherished painting of a skateboarding Dachschund in a Aloha shirt and sunglasses. And that's high art.

Hi, I used Velcro to attach art to my mouse fur walls. I used two sided 3M automotive tape to hold other items to hard surfaces. The Silver Lady is stuck to my credenza with 3m automotive tape. Most of these items have been in place for about ten years.
