Where to drill a hole to mount a table?

We want to drill a hole in the floor to recess the bracket that holds the table base. However, we have no idea where the steel frame might be? Anyone know where I can find a diagram of the frame of our 1969 Land Yacht?

I fixed your spelling...

An easy way to see where the frame rails are is to look under your trailer. The rivets holding the belly pan are attached to the frame.

Since the frame is steel you could probably find it with a magnet or maybe a stud finder would work.....Phil

If you just want to miss the frame, the stud finder will do that. If you want to map the frame from above, the stud finder should work fine for that too. You can probe with a nail in an electric drill. Don't use a drill bit if you have carpet on the floor.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

First think I'd probably do the rivet thing underneath to get a good idea where the cross-member is, then inside, bang on the floor with a hammer, see if I could tell any difference in the sound where the cross-members are.

I contacted AS and they sent me a PDF of an engineering line drawing as well as some pics of my frame layout. Never hurts to ask the source.
