Do you have any photos of the crates and how they fit in the trailer? I would love to see them......

Sounds good to me...

Hey, now there's a thought, I could just leave the bottles at home instead of dragging the empties back home to refill!
Cheers ! ....................... Brian.

Depending on the length of the trip we just use a cardboard wine case or one of those cardboard wine 6-paks that most of the large supermarkets provide. Just stick it in the closet surounded by clothes to keep it cool and all is well. Don't have to worry about bringing any home...

Carol, Here is the cases I made for the trailer, the 2 long ones hole 20 750 ml and the square one hold 12 500 ml, they are screwed to the floor so they don't move. That doesn't count what we can put under the bed.

This is how the wine is 'unloaded' for the enjoyment of all...
I had to take a few sips, then decided that sitting on the lawn to enhance my enjoyment...er, maybe a quick nap would be in order...

Gosh...and I thought taking 3 bottles on a trip was a lot of wine. Sheesh! You folks party down!
Anyway, in our 06 Bambi, wine bottles fit nicely in the magazine rack below the pantry by the door. It would hold about 5 or bottles I reckon.

Neil....A 'mulled' mind is a terrible thing to waste...
I just thought a few gallons of wine would hold down the rear of the TV better than sand bags...
I've had to develop some special relationships with local wineries that are willing to sell in 'bulk'...

I lived in Stockton from '67 to '78. Met Lynn there and our kids were born there. I remember occassionally tagging along with a good friend when he visited his favorite winery for bulk wine. I wasn't a wine drinker then. I guess you can get some nice wines that way. I have twin water tanks in our Trade Wind. Maybe........

I just realized that my favorite wine sits right next to me...."Are we there yet? The radio's too loud! Pull over, I need to pee".
Oh, wait a minute, that's whine, not wine.
Never mind.
