That appears to be a propane space heater. If you can locate a serial number nameplate on the device and provide the model number, part number etc., we can research online and provide links to operating instructions and perhaps an owners manual.

What is this ? A heater ?

Is that a burner on the bottom with a glass cover?

If I am seeing that right I say it is a propane space heater with an intentionally long flue to transfer as much "waste" heat from the flue as possible.

I am saying that the base is a commercially produced heater of some kind with a homemade "heat exchanger" to increase thermal efficiency. (In theory anyway).

oh ok, it's a propane heater system...

This picture comes from internet, it isn't mine because I have an uncomplete system... and I think I can't find any serial number on the parts...

It not seems be an original system and I don't want to install a gaz system for the heater, so, I don't keep the system for the rebuilt...

Thank you very much for your quickly answers !

Have a nive day

It is an original heater, I saw it in a 54 flying cloud I tried to buy once.

If it is a propane heater, I wouldn't want it inside the trailer. As old as it may be, it may leak propane. Propane is heavier than air and settles to the floor until you use a match. That will get rid of the propane and the trailer. Remove it and cap the line securely. Use yellow teflon tape when you cap it. In the US, yellow tape is for gas lines, white is for water lines. Then it sounds like you will have to install a new furnace. The furnaces are designed to isolate the gas and fire box from inside of the trailer so you don't get propane fumes in the trailer.

I agree, I think it's a too old heater system, it will be too dangerous to use it.

Safer to fix a new modern system (electric or propane)...
