What is the interior measurement of a 25' Tradewind?

I am preparing to buy my first Airstream, looking in the 25ft to 27ft region, late 196x to mid 197x year model. I am planning to gut it completely to put in a new interior.

The decision which length/model I will buy depends mostly on the space inside. Can anybody tell me the interior of a Tradewind or an Overlander from these years.

Welcome and good luck with what lies ahead of you.

In genreal you can figure the total length is bumper to front of the hitch. minus 3 feet for this and you have your inside dimension. so 25' is about 22' and a 27' is about 24'. someone may know the exact length. My 28' 1968 is 25' on the inside..

May you have at least one sunny day, and a soft chair to sit in..

I have a1973 TradeWind (25-ft). The interior length is 21-feet. I picked the rig up last August in Wilmington. This past year I've pulled the shell and rebuilt frame, currently installing fresh, grey, & black tanks. Shopping for plywood for subfloor. Should have shell back on and secured later this fall.

In your search read up on issues with this era trailer. The biggest issue is rear frame separation and rot (rust). I feel I got a good deal because frame rot was marginal but needed attention. I went ahead and rebuilt with new 2x5 box steel. Lot's of threads in forum on this.

I'm in Augusta, Ga. If you are in the neighborhood your welcome to check out the trailer.

Purman is dead on. 22' inside front to inside back. 7' 4" wide. This is the floor dimensions. The window to window might be slightly more.
This is for my 1972 trade wind.
