Hi all,
I have a question about these two holes and flex pipes that go under the sub floor. What are they for?
I have completely removed the interior so i can lift the shell to replace the damaged sub floor. Here are some photos of what it looked like before i started the disassembly. Any comments welcomed.
Hard to tell just where they were located from your pics, but my trailer had similar flex pipes feeding from the heat duct to the waste tanks. I suppose the idea was to keep them from freezing when camping in cold weather, but with one way air flow, i.e. no return air provision, I can't see them as being terribly effective. I don't intend re-installing them when I put my trailer back together. Later.
Sometimes those ducts work to draw warm air from the interior to the furnace intake. They are one-way, but they do work to keep the tanks from freezing. Check for this design feature before you decide to eliminate them.
Hi Belegedhel Thank you for your in put. These holes are between the road side and curb side back closets and the rear bath room. The road side one is near the water heater and the black water vent stack that runs up through the closet and the other one looks like it is in the bottom of the curb side closet.
