And the question is what? Or are you just making a random statement?

Maybe they're looking to swap their couch for someone's dinette?

Sorry about the confusion. I wish to take out the couch and use the space to have a dinette installed by someone who is able to do it, and do it well. of course I will pay for the work done. I live in the Tampa Bay area, if that helps the craftsman doing the work.

No takers?
Maybe this will help..
Go through this forum and find all of the pictures that you can of people who have done this.
Download the pictures to your computer.
Go to your trailer and take measurements.. length, width, height.. etc.
Kind of make up a plan..

A friend of mine once told me.. when you are going to buy something, go to where the people who use it most buy it.. He bought the seat cushion for his car from a truck stop.

The table itself is pretty much a bolt down thing. Bolt the holder to the floor and the pipe from the table fits into it. Something like that.. search around for tables like that.

As for the seating.. who would most likely make stuff like that? My first guess would be a cabinet maker or maybe a good trim carpenter.

Go to a bunch of places and show them your plan and see what they say. Don't be too quick to jump on someone's offer to do it. You will pick up valuable tidbits by talking to a variety of people.

In my experience with finding someone to fabricate a new chassis.. I ran into two sorts of places.. here in Charleston, SC. Industrial type fabricators (business to business) who aren't used to dealing with the general public, and Joe "I can weldz" guy. It was frustrating, but I finally found a couple of sharp young guys who work for an industrial fabricator who are doing it on the side, and their boss is allowing them to use his shop for free.

Any upholstery person should be able to make the cushions easily.

This post will show you most of what I did for a dinette. The best feature is the short table (it doesn't require a leg), which allows you to easily sit on the benches, and it's still great for eating when there are only two of us. The full thread has a few ideas that your cabinet maker might use in your Airstream.

Factory Dinnet conversion

We had our's done at Jackson Center Service Center in OH. The did a great job. The chief thing for us having the factory do it was the cushions. The quotes I had on the cushions was very high. I let the service center do it for just slightly more than the cushions were going to cost me and I would do all the other fab work. Hope this helps.
