Wall Switch in a 65 Caravel

I recently purchased a 65 Caravel. There is 1 switch on the wall behind the sink. What does this switch power? There is no outside plug or light.

In my '64 Safari similar nonfunctional wall switch wire was finally traced to a former water pump under the galley sink.

They are correct. Power from the 12V source goes to the switch and then to the water pump. Mine has a orange wire for the complete circuit.

We don't have a water pump (yet) but that switch controls our vent fan. Kinda strange to have a wall switch and a pull chain. Maybe I'll find out someday if it also controls the water pump.

Thanks for all of your reply's. There is a non functioning switch on the non functioning stove vent (wasps etc) so I am going with the water pump. My pump is in the driver side access. Not sure if it works. ALL of my outside wires and copper have been stolen off of this baby. Just rewired the primary power cord coming in and all the lights and plugs work fine. Yea... Thanks again.
