vacuum cleaner

What brand of vacuum cleaner or electric broom is best? We have a 1998 Excella Classic 31'. Laminate floors throughout. We also have an air mattress that could be blown up with the right brand. Needs to fit into the space at end of twin bed approx. 10" by 25"

Don't know if it will work for you, and can't say it's the best, but we have a small Dirt Devil we bought at Lowe's that fits in the slide out drawer under the front couch.

My wife, who sold all the major brands, got us one of these for ours.

Sanitaire.com

Handle folds so it fits in my bedside wardrobe, it has a power brush roll for our throw rugs, but you can turn it off for bare floors and it also has a hose and tools to vacuum the upholstery and reach into corners.

I like it. I also like the Miele. We have one in the house that I use on the hardwoods. It's light and the handle is removable for easy storage.

Another Airstreamer recommended the small, handheld Shark. It seems to do a good job for us. We got ours at Camp Walmart.
