Unknown Material?

Went to check out a "75" Airstream today. It was in pretty rough shape and mush have been inhabited by a colony of mice. But as I looked around I found a substance in the rear bath area under shelving that I'm wondering what it is. A white powdery substance covering the Univolt and much of everything else in the vicinity. Almost looks like the type of corrosion you'd find on battery terminals but it was all over. Any thoughts and what issues might there be in cleaning? Thanks for your thoughts...

I have heard of something close to that in a box trailer used as a meth lab. May not be illegal drugs but somebody used a solvents for some purpose. Cleanup will not be too difficult as she will need a total renovation anyway! Use chemical resistant gloves!

If it is low in unnoticeable areas then I would not be too concerned, at least from a cosmetic standpoint. I wonder if it could be from a stored grain pest where someone had thrown food in there for some reason.

I do see the mice droppings, definitely want to be careful from a disease standpoint with those babies. If the trailer has a bad rodent odor, it is VERY difficult to remove.

LOL...don't think it was a meth lab as it belonged to an elderly lady who only drove it to church on Sundays. But then one never knows... Kevin good call on the cleaning caution. Didn't notice strong smell but owner had all the windows open. It's pretty much gutted so power wash might be a good start.

It could just be mold from being a damp dark place for a long time.
Wear a mask when cleaning.
