Ugly bathroom Mirror!!

I've been fixing up my 80 Caravelle and it's starting to really look sharp except one area. I have a rear bath and the mirror hanging over the window is one ugly item! I've thought about taking it out, but I'd like to hear any ideals to spruce it up. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Don

hmmmmmmm...kind of hard without pics but how about covering it up with some fabric in a decorative fashion. It would prob be an easy cheap fix with a staple gun and a nice pattern to compliment your interior....maybe fan it some way to make it look kind of spiffy...just a thought...

If ugly means the tape showing through (lines in the mirror about the width of masking tape), you can remove the mirror (and frame) and have a new mirror cut for about $30 (I think, I can't really remember now).

I've replaced it twice, once in the rear bath Overlander and also in the center bath Sovereign. It's not too difficult but there are a lot of rivets holding the mirror in the frame and getting the rivets out requires patience.

I have a mirror that looks like small little chips in the area just all away around I thought I could use some color tape found at walmart in the sewing dept next to like the velcro, that is what i am going to try it would give it a nice frame looked..

Are the chips in the mirror, or in the frame around it?

it is the mirror, itself,I should say it is more like flaking than chips, I did find color tape in the paint dept ..it is stretchy and moisture resistant..
